Dopo che la community ha approvato il ritorno delle Trax, qui alla sede di Origins siamo tutti super entusiasti. Novembre sarà un mese PIENO di divertimento.


Abbiamo appena attivato le Trax nel gioco e, questo mese, ci saranno molte altre sorprese:

• Un badge esclusivo dell’evento come premio per la competizione (visibile sotto ).

Quattro settimane, quattro competizioni Trax:

Ogni mercoledì di novembre, faremo:

• Aggiungeremo una serie di campioni Trax di un genere specifico nel Catalogo.
• Lanceremo una competizione in cui dovrai usare la Trax per creare una canzone che segua il genere musicale della settimana.

Ogni competizione Trax offrirà i seguenti premi (illustrati):
• 1º posto: Targa Oro e 100 crediti
• 2º posto: Targa Argento e 50 crediti
• 3º posto: Targa Bronzo e 25 crediti
• I primi 10 classificati riceveranno un badge esclusivo

So, if your track was called “Disco Breakdown” and it was an entry for week 1’s competition, you should name it “TX1 – Disco Breakdown”. This will ensure the team is able to take your entry directly from the game as a submission for the competition.
  
• Please only submit one entry per avatar, per competition, so we know which song you want to enter. 
  

Rules:

• Your track can be a maximum of 60 seconds long.
  
• You can use any amount of samples in your track. There’s no need to just use 4 samples.
  
• You must stick to the genre! Your track will be judged on how well it fits.

We're excited to announce a new nightclub-themed room building competition and we’d love your input on a few key aspects!


Many of you have asked for more free or low-cost furni to help you build your rooms. There's also been interest in introducing the Neon furni line and lots of questions about the OG Habbo Turntable


So, on Monday we’ll be publishing a new InfoBus poll with the following proposals:

1. Shall we add the Neon furni line? (Pictured above.)
   
2. Should we make the Neon furni line permanent? (Depends on Q1 being YES.)
   
3. Shall we give Habbos some free Neon furni? (Depends on Q1 being YES.)
   
4. Shall we give OG Habbo Turntables as a competition prize?
   
5. Shall we commit to never selling the OG Habbo Turntable? (Depends on Q4 being YES.)
   

Remember, for any of the above proposals to pass, we need 70% or more of votes across all hotels to be YES. You must be a Habbo Club member to vote. 
The InfoBus poll will only run for 48 hours.
We’ll launch the nightclub room building competition once the results are in ️

After a significant number requests from the community over the past few months, we've decided to design and implement an official programme to support player-led events in Habbo Hotel: Origins.
To ensure we hit the mark, we're asking players for their ideas and opinions on what would make the programme a success. Join our Discord and navigate to the #feature-feedback channel to find the right feedback forum.


We intend to get wider community input on this programme before it goes live, potentially via an InfoBus poll. We're using Discord in this early stage because it's very easy to source and sort through the types of qualitative data we need.

Earlier this week, we polled the community on whether or not we should do a variety of things related to an upcoming room building competition.


We’ve now counted up the global number of YES and NO votes for each of the five questions. The full, global results can be seen below:

We've added a new, free selection of Neon furni to the web shop! Use these items to give your room an authentic nightclub feel if you feel so inclined. Please note that using them in your competition build is entirely optional.

How to enter

• Name your nightclub room ‘Nightclub 2024’. We’ll find your entry this way so make sure you use that exact room name!
  
• Enter between now and 22:59 GMT (14:59 PST) on 24/11. 
  
• Winners will be announced by the end of the day on 26/11.
  
  

Judging

We’ll be judging the competition on:

• Innovative use of furni. Origins is still a pretty new game with a relatively small number of items available. Use this to your advantage by incorporating furni in innovative ways to make your nightclub stand out from the rest.
  
• Technical skill. Stacking furni isn’t required, but it can often really help your room match specific themes.
  
• Overall vibes. It’s important to understand that bigger rooms don’t automatically place higher in the rankings, it’s about the overall look and feel of your room and how well it matches the brief. Small rooms can be just as effective! Some of the most famous IRL nightclubs are tiny, anyway

Hello Habbos! We know you're all eagerly waiting for the results of the Nightclub building competition.
However, we're not confident we're seeing all entries in-game and visiting some of the larger rooms with lots of furni is causing technical difficulties. This is an oversight on our part, and we're sorry for it.
Therefore, if you've built a nightclub, we're asking you to take a picture of your room and upload it to a social media network or image sharing platform, and submit it to this Google Form.
We're giving you 2 days to submit your entry, to ensure as many people see this message as possible.
We expect to have the room competition winners announced by the end of the day this Friday.

Earlier today we opened the iconic "Disco" room in Habbo Hotel: Origins! This room has a lot of history behind it, and was first introduced to Habbo a long, long time ago.


Access it from the Navigator!

To make credits and Habbo Club membership more affordable for Latin American players on origins.habbo.es and origins.habbo.com.br, we’re cutting the price of credits on those hotels. This should help to breathe life into those communities by encouraging more people to play.
At the same time, we’re giving existing players on those hotels the opportunity to transfer their items, memberships and credits to a .COM account they own. This means that over the coming weeks, you can expect our hotel to grow at least a bit!

Improvements to the Trade Window

One of the quality of life improvements we promised in our roadmap was an improvement to the trade window. We’re making good on that promise, and introduced a new and improved Trade Window, borrowing heavily from the last version of the Shockwave Client.

Changes / additions:

• Introduced a Trade Confirmation dialogue, players will now have an opportunity to verify their trades before committing to them.
  
• Added a furni preview bubble, that will show a full-sized image of the furni, its name, and its description.
  
• Increased the number of distinct items in the trade window from 6 to 9.
  

Improvements to Ignore capability

In the original release of Habbo Hotel: Origins, we made use of the ignore capabilities that existed in Habbo V9. However, a major drawback here is that the ignores you added would not persist between play sessions.
So, we’ve made changes such that if you ignore a player they will remain ignored until you unignore them!

Public Rooms

Time for a little public room shake-up! We’re moving some of the public rooms around and have added a new one to celebrate the Trax period, by going back to party in Mobiles Disco.

• Added the Mobiles Disco public room.
  
• Moved the Theatredrome public room to the Entertainment category in the Navigator.
  
• Moved the Rooftop Cafe public room to the Cafe category in the Navigator.
  
• Restored the non-Habboween version of the Rooftop Cafe and moved Skye inside of the Cafe.
  
• Updated the entry location for Cafe Gold (“The Oasis”).
  
• Extended the skybox within the Rooftop Rumble room so as to not abruptly cut to black.
  

Catalogue Changes.

A couple of small updates here, fix of a persistent script error and some small improvements to a few catalogue pages.

Changes / fixes:

• Fixed missing header and teaser image for the Neon Catalogue page.
  
• Pink, Knight, Gold, Blue, Aqua and White rollers can now be purchased in packs of one.
  
• Fixed several spelling mistakes on the English “Presents” Catalogue page.
  
• The Camera and Camera2 pages have been properly merged together and no longer appear as two separate pages.
  

Miscellaneous Fixes

• Fixed palette issues with the Butterfly 2 poster.
  
• Fixed placement of Neon wall items on right facing walls in large rooms.
  
• Fixed issues with the Neon Laser in large rooms.
  
• Fixed an issue that would cause the client to show both ‘Give Rights’ and ‘Remove Rights’ in private rooms when a player had rights.
  
• Fixed an issue with the Green Pirate’s Duck Bandana in large rooms, it now appears green instead of black.
  
• Removed a stray white pixel from the Halloween Yukka.
  
• Fixed an issue preventing placement of furni on Funky Friday rollers.
